Why Millennials say no to 9-5

Postby Elizabethharvey » Tue Apr 05, 2016 4:47 am

It seems with the elevation of technology and innovation, the attitude towards the professional environment is shifting. To put it simply, the traditional style of working eight hours a day may be facing extinction due to the growing market of millennial employees.

That is correct – millennials are mostly shaping the standard 9-5 jobs in the market. It is when people can deliver the same amount of work by doing odd hours and such. Millennials can communicate and collaborate with the company just as they would at their own expense.

Millennials want a flexible schedule that they are most comfortable with. With that being said, let us look at the reasons why some millennials just turn away from the traditional 8-hour standard.

1. They need their own space

It has come to this point that the younger generation of today needs to find their own spark with which they can work with. It is not to say that they are lazy or anything just that they prefer to deliver at their own terms. This is where employers must strive for a compromise.

For instance, when you ask them to complete an UK assignments task, they will get it done when they feel like it, but that doesn’t make them lazy or incapable in any way.

2. Give in to their demands

Firm leaders need to personalize more towards millennials so that they can have their own elbow room and deliver their daily quota. You can argue with them all you want, but if you don’t give in to their demands, your company will be doomed to bankruptcy.

You may even have to act like a butler to them in return, but at least you will get something out of them that will benefit your company in the long run. Of course you don’t have to heed all of their demands, just ensure that they are satisfied with how they like to work.

3. They won’t work anywhere without social media

Social media has become more than just a means of communication and entertainment; it has become part of our lives. Everywhere you go, you will virtually always see someone holding a smartphone in their hands. Checking up on our Facebook status is like seeing if there is still a pulse in our veins.

With this in mind, companies will have to think twice about recruiting candidates who are simply obsessed with the digital world. Although some companies have resorted to measures that counter this compulsive behavior, other companies have come to embrace it, so long as candidates deliver on time.

4. They are always connected

Even though we make ourselves present at our workplaces, technology has become so omnipresent that now we are able to work at home as well. It helps us stay connected with the company’s clients and customers no matter what time of the day it may be.

However, there is such a thing as working overtime and finishing what we should have done at the office. Still, technology has taken us so far that now completing our assignments is barely a challenge.

5. They prefer flexibility over more money

It sounds like risky sacrifice, but believe it or not, the Gen Y community would rather prefer having to work at their own set of hours than putting more green in their vaults. It seems that flexibility makes millennials feel more respected and productive in this aspect.

Therefore, companies have had to opt with this concept in order to get more out of their employees. As a matter of fact, recent survey results have shown that employees tend to be more motivated and hardworking because of this.

Teaching requires teachers with a deep and complete knowledge of the topic or subject, an understanding of how people study, and an aptitude to use principles of learning and teaching to excite student learning and achievement.

Teaching is the best profession if it is a person’s area of interest. There is no any stress with their profession. A teacher must have the ability to control their students work and they need a big knowledge on the topic.

Yeah. Without proper motivation children won't learn material. So teacher should know how to make their discipline interesting. And don't let them to order essays. Writing companies it's great, but only those which are trusted. Such scam companies like Smartwritingservice could cheat their clients, so be careful.
