Protesters joined hands on a downtown Seattle street,
blocking the path of buses that were on their way to the convention
center where World Trade Organization delegates met today.

Police Tuesday attempt to clear downtown Seattle
streets of protesters outside the World Trade Organization (WTO)
Conference. Police used force along with pepper spray and teargas
to move the demonstrators. Thousands of protesters blocked streets
preventing delegates from reaching the Convention Center and Paramount
Theater where WTO Opening Ceremony is to take place which delayed
